About the Role
The Restoration Technician plays a vital role in executing service projects by performing essential production tasks and ensuring the upkeep of SERVPRO equipment and assigned vehicles. Known for exemplifying excellence in the cleanup and restoration sector, this position offers competitive pay and opportunities for skill advancement through training programs and potential industry certifications. The core mission is to restore fire and water damage seamlessly to create the impression of "Like it never even happened®!"
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out production duties, including demolition and labor-intensive work activities.
- Manage inventory and load the company vehicle with appropriate equipment, supplies, and products for each assignment, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Prepare work areas and staging zones by setting up necessary equipment efficiently.
- Strictly follow safety protocols and risk management guidelines at all times.
- Coordinate effectively with the restoration supervisor and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Complete thorough end-of-day and jobsite cleanup, leaving all areas tidy and orderly.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong verbal communication skills complemented by basic math and computer proficiency.
- Previous experience in cleaning or restoration is desirable.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Preference given to candidates holding IICRC certifications.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Physical capability to regularly lift at least 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting hourly wage of $15.00, dependent on experience, with prospects for overtime and merit-based increases.
