Job Overview

Our client in Glasgow is seeking a dependable and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. This position operates Monday through Friday and requires working on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project expenses ensuring adherence to predetermined budgets.
• Engage and negotiate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Provide regular progress reports on individual projects.
• Collaborate closely with clients and construction professionals including site managers, project managers, engineers, and designers.
• Ensure compliance with on-site company protocols and health & safety standards.
• Accurately document and report all site operations and occurrences.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess an HND or an equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Proficiency with specialized software such as CostX or Bluebeam.
• Strong skills in building and maintaining professional relationships.
• Ability to negotiate, influence, and motivate stakeholders.
• Competence in analyzing data effectively.
• Hold a valid full UK driving license.
