Job description
Position Overview
The Night Porter at Hotel du Vin in Cheltenham plays a critical role in supervising hotel operations from evening to morning. This hands-on position ensures guest satisfaction and maintains the hotel's brand standards throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Food & Beverage department during overnight hours.
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide helpful assistance.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of public areas, including cleaning and preparing event and meeting spaces for the following day.
- Assist guests with their luggage and respond to various inquiries.
- Conduct nightly Health and Safety checks throughout the premises.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in a comparable role is advantageous.
- Requirement of previous night shift working experience.
- Strong organizational capabilities with excellent communication skills.
Work Schedule
The hotel operates daily, all year round. Shift patterns and contracted hours are flexible and can be tailored during the interview process. The busiest periods typically fall during evenings and weekends.
