Night Porter

Role Overview

The Night Porter position at Hotel du Vin in Stratford-upon-Avon involves managing the hotel's overnight operations, ensuring guests receive quality service, and upholding brand standards. You will oversee the Food & Beverage Department during nighttime hours, assist guests with a warm welcome, and maintain cleanliness in public areas and event spaces.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth hotel operations from sunset to sunrise.
• Manage Food & Beverage services during the night shift.
• Greet and assist guests cordially, handling inquiries efficiently.
• Maintain spotless public areas and prepare meeting/event rooms for the following day.
• Support guests with luggage handling as needed.
• Perform nightly health and safety inspections.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Essential to have worked night shifts before.
• Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities.

Working Hours and Flexibility
