Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced MEP Inspector to join our Dubai-based team. This role requires hands-on oversight and technical support for all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering aspects throughout project lifecycles, ensuring strict compliance with pertinent codes, standards, and contractual requirements on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage design coordination and execution of MEP systems in construction projects.
• Ensure all MEP work complies with local regulations, standards, and project specifications of the UAE.
• Review and approve MEP shop drawings, material submissions, and technical documentation from contractors and subcontractors, confirming adherence to quality and project demands.
• Carry out routine site inspections to check progress and conformance to approved plans, timelines, and safety protocols.
• Inspect and test MEP installations during construction phases to verify functional performance and design compliance.
• Identify and address MEP issues, conflicts, or defects encountered onsite, collaborating with all parties to implement corrective measures.
• Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, tests, certifications, and non-conformance reports to support quality assurance and project documentation.
• Enforce safety procedures by performing safety audits, highlighting risks, and ensuring safe execution of MEP work on location.
• Offer technical advice and problem-solving to project and construction teams on MEP matters, including interpreting drawings and coordinating cross-discipline activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• At least 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years in hard and soft landscaping projects during construction phases within the UAE.
• Demonstrated history working on large-scale landscaping projects in the UAE is preferred.
