Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced K2 Developer to join our client’s government sector team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining advanced business process applications using the K2 platform suite (K2 Five, K2 Cloud, Nintex Automation). This role involves digitizing manual or fragmented workflows into efficient automated processes through collaboration with business analysts and IT departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design complex workflow models by converting detailed business processes into automated K2 workflows with advanced rules and conditional logic.
• Develop sophisticated, responsive user interfaces using K2 Smart Forms, integrating custom controls, views, and validation.
• Create reusable K2 Smart Objects enabling secure connectivity with external databases and SaaS platforms.
• Integrate K2 workflows with enterprise systems such as SharePoint, SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics via REST/SOAP APIs and custom service brokers.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server database elements including stored procedures, views, and triggers that support K2 processes.
• Extend K2 platform functionality by authoring custom .NET/C# code, assemblies, or Smart Form controls when standard features are insufficient.
• Perform platform administration tasks such as troubleshooting workflow failures, managing server logs, environmental configuration, and deploying packages.
• Enhance performance by auditing and refining Smart Object queries and complex Smart Form rules to reduce processing time.
• Document technical designs, environment migration procedures, and data dictionaries related to custom K2 solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience with a focus on business process management systems.
• At least 3 to 5 years of direct experience in developing enterprise applications using K2 Five or K2 Cloud.
• Proven expertise in integrating K2 with multiple enterprise systems such as SharePoint Online, Oracle, ERP solutions, or databases.
• Advanced knowledge of the K2 platform architecture including K2 Designer, Smart Objects, Smart Forms, Workflow, Management, and Workspace.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including advanced T-SQL scripting and database object optimization.
• Solid programming skills in .NET, C#, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, particularly for extending Smart Forms.
• Relevant certifications such as Nintex/K2 Certified Specialist, K2 Five Core Developer, or Nintex Automation Cloud Practitioner/Developer.
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or legacy SQL Server/.NET development credentials are highly desirable.
