Job description
Role Overview
The Manager for the Operations Implementation and Management (OIM) team will be tasked with delivering comprehensive administrative and operational support to facilitate smooth event execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end event support including preparation, day-of execution, and follow-up for various events such as outreach initiatives, career fairs, virtual events, and workshops.
- Conduct targeted outreach efforts to engage and encourage participation from individuals within a specified database for relevant events and activities.
- Oversee vendor arrangements for logistics activities such as pre-registration, event execution onsite, and tracking outcomes post-event.
- Monitor and report on event performance metrics, manage event information, and perform trend analysis.
- Organize after-action reviews to assess participant engagement, identify improvement areas, gather feedback from stakeholders, and suggest enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of three years' professional experience in event management, customer service, or related fields.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
- Strong organizational aptitudes including planning, multitasking, and managing deadlines under demanding conditions.
- High attention to accuracy when handling data and proficiency with relevant software applications, notably Microsoft Office.
- A strong customer service mindset geared toward providing excellent stakeholder experiences.
- Capability to operate both autonomously and collaboratively within team settings.
- A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to solve problems in a solution-oriented manner.
