Job description
Overview
The Incentives Management Division (IMD), within the Incentives Management and Enforcement Group (IMEG) of the Skills & Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), plays a vital role in shaping a responsive and inclusive Continuing Education and Training (CET) ecosystem. IMD focuses on efficient grant administration, Skills Development Levy (SDL) collection, and enforcement actions to prevent fraud and abuse, thereby enhancing the CET system's quality and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage appeals submitted by public members, conducting necessary investigations and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee quality assurance of outsourced service providers by performing sampling checks to ensure compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policy standards.
- Support implementation and enhancement of the Training Allowance System (TAS).
- Assist in reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures and drafting corresponding work instructions.
- Engage with stakeholders, including training providers and partners, to facilitate program operations.
- Extract, compile, and conduct basic analyses of data to aid reporting and operational activities.
- Undertake other duties as assigned to support division objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Up to 5 years of relevant experience in grants management, operational roles, or system development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in systems thinking and design methodologies.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively within a team, and cross-functionally.
- Effective interpersonal skills adaptable to dynamic work environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
- Competent in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
- Familiarity with SkillsFuture grants and CET frameworks is advantageous but not mandatory.
