Maintenance Technician

Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical hands-on role ensuring the hotel’s facilities function smoothly. This role requires a sharp attention to detail and proactive engagement to maintain guest comfort by promptly addressing maintenance needs and ensuring the safety and aesthetic upkeep of the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair boiler systems, pumps, ventilation units, electrical and plumbing systems, as well as water and sewage infrastructure.
• Strictly adhere to safety and security guidelines related to maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail throughout all maintenance tasks.
• Physically capable of lifting, moving, and handling materials up to 50 pounds without assistance and performing labor-intensive duties.
• Exhibit excellent organizational skills to effectively prioritize and manage workload.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all communications, both in person and over the phone.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Possess between one and two years of experience in building or facilities maintenance.
• Hold a college or university diploma.
• Be in strong physical condition to lift up to 100 pounds without help, and carry out laborious tasks.
• Show a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to resolving technical problems.
