Job Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring the prompt execution and management of daily shipment orders. Key duties involve booking shipments, coordinating with multiple parties involved in warehousing and transportation, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations.

Key Duties

• Receive and manage shipment orders initiated by customers.
• Coordinate freight booking with preferred carriers following customer's routine guides.
• Offer quotations for services including warehousing, transportation, and documentation.
• Communicate with truckers to arrange container movements between depots and customer sites for stuffing and transport to ports.
• Prepare necessary permits and related declarations or applications.
• Handle preparation of Letters of Credit and finalize shipping documentation.
• Track shipping documents to facilitate shipment clearance and verify regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or allied disciplines is preferable.
• Between 1 to 2 years of experience in sea freight operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with no prior relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of SAP, logistics management software, and Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Excellent communication and coordination capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as cooperatively within a team.
