Overview
PSA International is a prominent global port operator committed to delivering exceptional port and logistics services. PSA BDP, a division within PSA, supports cargo owners by ensuring resilient, agile, sustainable, and cost-effective supply chain solutions through an extensive digital and logistics network. We are looking for a dependable and diligent Warehouse Assistant to contribute to our Life Science and Healthcare warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and properly store incoming stock materials.
- Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized inventory storage and regularly update stock locations.
- Perform routine stock checks, cycle counts, and assist with inventory audits.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE) safely when required.
- Report any damaged products or inventory inconsistencies to supervisors promptly.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader and Supervisor to meet operational and customer service goals.
- Execute daily tasks with precision to reduce errors and enhance efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high operational standards.
- Build strong internal relationships and promote a culture emphasizing accountability, safety, and high performance.
Qualification and Skills
- At least secondary education.
- Basic proficiency in English, mathematics, and computer usage.
- Experience in Life Science or Healthcare warehouse environments is desirable but not mandatory.
- Possession of a forklift license and experience with MHE operation is a plus but not essential.
- Physical capability to handle and move heavy items properly using equipment.
- Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail for operational accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous but not required.
- Willingness and flexibility to work shifts including weekends and public holidays as necessary.
