Job description

Role Overview

Join Enterprise Singapore as a Development Partner in the Grant Policy division, where you will spearhead impactful programs designed to support the growth of Singapore enterprises. This position offers the chance to innovate policy based on real industry feedback, manage a portfolio of multi-scheme grants comprehensively, and strengthen stakeholder engagement across government and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage selected grant schemes, acting as the principal policy advisor for scheme design, execution, and ongoing improvements.
  • Maintain regular engagement with programme users and partners to monitor industry needs and enhance grant parameters accordingly.
  • Define and structure complex projects together with grant users to ensure alignment with grant scheme objectives.
  • Supervise the grant evaluation process to uphold fairness and robustness.
  • Ensure effective balance between impactful results and governance to keep grant schemes relevant, efficient, and accountable.
  • Monitor budget use and cash flow planning actively, allowing timely interventions when necessary.
  • Provide detailed reporting on scheme utilization and results to stakeholders, including the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and Ministry of Finance (MOF).
  • Lead periodic reviews of schemes to guarantee they continue meeting business community needs.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in roles related to policy development or programme management.
  • Exhibit excellent writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; experience with SQL and Superset is an advantage.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and the ability to operate effectively in uncertain or ambiguous environments.
  • Have a genuine enthusiasm for public service, policy development, and programme leadership.
