Role Overview

RCK Partners is seeking an ambitious and motivated Graduate Business Development Representative to join their expanding commercial team. The core responsibility is to generate new business opportunities via proactive outreach and targeted campaign execution, setting up qualified meetings for the wider Business Development team. This position requires a confident communicator, adept at handling a high volume of outbound interactions through calls, email, LinkedIn, and other platforms to convert prospects into scheduled meetings. Note this role is strictly office-based, necessitating a full-time presence at the City of London office.

Key Duties

  • Conduct targeted outbound campaigns aimed at producing new business leads and scheduling appointments for the Business Development team.
  • Complete at least 70 outbound dials daily, complemented by planned email and social media outreach.
  • Research and identify prospective clients within selected key market sectors.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of prospecting activity, leads, and sales pipeline using CRM software.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and business development colleagues to optimize messaging, targeting strategies, and the quality of leads.
  • Engage in consistent follow-up communications to nurture leads and establish a positive reputation for RCK.
  • Meet and surpass weekly and monthly activity and meeting targets.
  • Maintain current knowledge of RCK’s services and market trends to confidently present value propositions.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduate of a Russell Group University holding either a First Class or 2:1 Honours degree.
  • Confident and charismatic with a strong desire to grow within a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment.
  • Comfortable with a high volume of outbound communications across multiple channels.
  • Competitive, highly driven, and enthusiastic about exceeding performance targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for quickly establishing rapport.
  • Result-oriented, resilient, and motivated to achieve goals.
  • Organized, disciplined, and proficient in managing time effectively.
  • A team player who is proactive, eager to learn, and committed to personal and professional development.
