Role Overview
This position offers a remarkable chance for a driven tax specialist to become a foundational member of a swiftly growing tax relief firm expanding into Ireland. As the inaugural delivery hire at the Ireland office, you will lead the technical delivery of premium R&D tax claims, develop a robust client pipeline, and support business growth alongside the commercial team. Over time, this role is set to evolve, encompassing team leadership and broader consulting responsibilities as the client portfolio grows.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute a diverse client portfolio, delivering 80 to 100 R&D tax claims annually.
- Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment under tight deadlines.
- Handle a substantial workload while ensuring detailed precision and accuracy.
- Exhibit strong time management to meet project demands.
- Offer expert advice specialized in R&D tax incentives to clients.
- Prepare meticulous technical reports and financial analyses.
- Enhance client relationship management to effectively oversee the delivery pipeline.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to attract new clients and explore fresh industrial sectors.
- Work independently with motivation and drive to achieve success.
- Contribute prior technical knowledge and pursue continual learning in technical subjects.
- Maintain a growth-oriented mindset focused on providing client value and supporting company expansion.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least one year of direct experience in R&D Tax Relief within Ireland from either technical or financial delivery perspectives; extensive experience will influence title and compensation.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on growth.
- Strong written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, primarily Word and Excel.
- Capability to work autonomously with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent collaboration skills and enthusiasm for mentoring junior colleagues.
