Role Overview

Reporting to the Team Manager and collaborating with other team members, you will be responsible for general garden upkeep at various locations in Waipawa and Hawkes Bay. Your duties will include planting, weeding, pruning, and overseeing vegetation control, as well as maintaining bedding displays, hanging baskets, roses, borders, and shrubbery. You must complete all tasks efficiently while prioritizing safety for the public, your colleagues, and yourself.

Candidate Profile

While practical experience in gardening or horticulture is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates with a strong work ethic, enthusiasm for outdoor work, and willingness to commit are ideal. Key attributes and requirements include holding a current full driver's license with manual vehicle capability, readiness to take responsibility for assigned tasks, teamwork spirit, understanding of relevant health and safety practices, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and high energy and motivation to complete tasks.
