Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and accurately apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to designated areas.
- Implement chemical treatments for effective weed control and eradication.
- Operate and maintain spraying equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of chemical applications ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Identify and report occurrences of weed infestation promptly.
- Perform mechanical weed removal when required.
- Conduct regular litter collection and report any damage or site concerns observed.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses ChemCERT / ACUP certification with a minimum of one year’s experience in a comparable role.
- Holds valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
- Demonstrates strong teamwork, proactively assisting colleagues as needed.
- Exhibits keen attention to detail with practical problem-solving skills.
- Commits to a safety-first approach protecting self, team members, and the public.
- Has a full driver’s license, essential for the role.
