Job description
Overview
We are looking for a dedicated full-time Evening Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities team supporting Defence operations. This role requires commitment to maintaining hygienic and safe environments across client locations through thorough cleaning practices. The position involves a contracted 35-hour workweek, typically working 5 days within a 7-day span.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cleaning and facilities staff to uphold cleanliness and safety standards for all clients and visitors.
- Carry out duties such as dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming specific areas to ensure high cleanliness levels.
- Regularly sanitize surfaces, floors, windows, and common touchpoints to reduce contamination risks.
- Promptly address spillages and perform additional cleaning tasks when necessary.
- Dispose of waste by emptying bins efficiently.
- Maintain and monitor cleaning supplies, restocking as required to avoid shortages.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Enjoyment and aptitude for hands-on cleaning work.
- Previous experience in cleaning roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to different working hours and tasks.
