  • Create and maintain incident response playbooks, strategies, and toolkits to progressively improve detection and prevention of fraud and abuse.
  • Act as a technical liaison during and after incidents by directly engaging with impacted merchants and customers to help determine root causes, address security weaknesses, and safeguard their accounts.
  • Collaborate with legal, policy, and threat intelligence teams as a key operational and technical contact.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external threat intelligence groups, peer organizations, and law enforcement agencies to enhance collaborative security efforts.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong expertise in Python and SQL, with familiarity in additional programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience in log analysis (application, system, or access logs), network security, digital forensics, and conducting incident investigations.
  • Proven ability to build automated incident response workflows, utilize threat intelligence effectively, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a record of guiding cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.
  • Background in collaboration with law enforcement agencies.
  • Active participation in threat intelligence sharing communities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with open-source frameworks for big data and data science, including PySpark, Pandas, and Sci-kit Learn.
  • Skilled in tactical threat intelligence or advanced threat hunting within enterprise settings.
  • Ability to challenge existing approaches through data-driven, user-first strategies to address product integrity challenges.
  • Experience speaking or participating at external industry conferences or events.
