Evening Cleaner

Dawn Meats is currently seeking dedicated and dependable individuals to join their hygiene team as Evening Cleaners at the Ballyhaunis production plant located in County Mayo, Ireland. This permanent role involves ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in meat processing areas following daily production.

Role Summary

The selected candidate will perform cleaning duties after each production day, involving the use of power hoses and manual cleaning tools to maintain hygiene in the facility.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of the production hall efficiently and thoroughly.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely and responsibly at all times.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow safety data sheets regarding chemical use and abide by standard operating procedures.
• Complete and update all necessary logbooks at the end of each shift.
• Regularly monitor and check chemical stock levels to ensure availability.
• Complete all scheduled cleaning tasks for the shift.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Capability to work effectively against deadlines in a busy production environment.
• Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• English language proficiency is not mandatory.
• Availability to work evening shifts, Monday through Friday.
