Job description
Overview
As an integral member of the management team, the Team Leader supports the Store Manager and Assistant Manager by overseeing daily store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide associates by providing mentorship and support.
- Manage store presentation, including shelf restocking and processing incoming shipments.
- Ensure compliance with customer service excellence standards.
- Carry out managerial duties during shifts, such as handling breaks and attendance.
- Implement and uphold visual merchandising standards.
- Address customer complaints promptly and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain adherence to safety and cleanliness regulations.
- Oversee cash handling and assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
- Participate in inventory activities and facilitate training for new hires.
- Follow up on assigned tasks and contribute to hiring and performance evaluations.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 1 year of retail experience.
- 1 to 2 years in a supervisory position.
- Driven to advance within the company.
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
- Capability to prioritize and perform in a high-volume environment.
