Job description
Position Overview
This role involves team collaboration, expertise in food preparation, and the use of digital tools to support sales and improve customer service at Sam's Club.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product details concerning prepared foods and assist in educating fellow associates.
- Prepare food items according to established specifications, plan production volumes including seasonal adjustments, and comply with food safety, sanitation, inventory, and equipment standards.
- Utilize digital technologies and hand-held devices to make operational decisions, manage orders, and enhance member experience.
- Manage merchandise stocking and rotation, ensure product quality and date control, minimize waste, and provide attentive service addressing customer needs and resolving issues.
- Serve as a role model promoting company values, fostering a respectful and team-oriented work culture while supporting training needs.
- Adhere to company policies, ethics, and procedures, using tools like the Open Door Policy to maintain integrity in business practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to execute tasks effectively, prioritize work, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to feedback and changes.

Compensation Details
The hourly pay ranges from $17 to $25, ensuring compliance with local minimum wage laws. Additional premiums between $0.35 and $3.00 per hour may apply based on various factors such as schedule, season, or work performed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Complete all required training and assessments within specified timeframes if hired.
Preferred Qualifications
- Food Safety Certification or Food Handler Certification is advantageous.
