Baker and Packager Associate

Position Overview

The Baker and Packager Associate plays a vital role in preparing fresh bakery products daily for members by following recipes and ensuring proper packaging and storage of items. This position requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional customer service and supporting a clean, organized bakery area.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a strong bakery team and assist in various areas as needed.
• Prepare bakery products to meet daily production demands by operating baking equipment, adhering to recipes, and properly wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company procedures and food safety standards.
• Utilize handheld technology to support sales, order management, production decisions, and training, enhancing both the customer and associate experience.
• Ensure operational excellence by maintaining cleanliness, controlling product quality and dates, minimizing waste, and assisting members with their purchasing choices.
• Act as an ambassador for the department and company by upholding high standards of service, energy, and commitment.
• Adhere to company policies, ethical practices, and safety standards, communicating and collaborating for continuous improvement.
• Manage priorities and deadlines effectively while adapting to change and feedback in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of all mandatory training and assessments within required timeframes is expected.
