Baker and Packager Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a Baker and Packager Associate to prepare fresh bakery products daily by following recipes and ensuring proper wrapping, labeling, and storage for our members in Vero Beach, FL. This role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of member satisfaction. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on delivering quality baked goods and exceptional customer service.

Key Duties

• Collaborate with bakery team members to maintain effective communication and business flexibility.
• Prepare bakery items according to production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipe instructions.
• Wrap, label, and store products in compliance with company policies, food safety, sanitation, and inventory procedures.
• Operate and sanitize baking equipment as required, and ensure product layout standards are met.
• Use digital tools and handheld technology to support sales, production decisions, ordering, training, and overall member experience enhancement.
• Maintain a clean and member-ready work area, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with quality and date control standards.
• Secure fragile or high-shrink items, minimize waste, and assist members with their bakery purchases.
• Display a positive attitude by greeting and thanking members, providing exceptional service, and complying with company ethics and policies.
• Complete assigned tasks by collaborating with coworkers and following established policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while assisting members efficiently and accurately.
• Proven aptitude for multitasking and thriving under fast-paced conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address obstacles and ensure excellence in task completion.
• Willingness to complete all required training and assessments promptly if hired.

Compensation and Benefits

• The hourly wage ranges from $17.00 to $25.00, not including premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour depending on conditions such as schedule, location, season, or job specifics.
