Position Overview

Key Duties

• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and appropriate zoning of the grocery department to guarantee customer readiness.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove any expired or damaged goods to preserve product quality.
• Verify accurate pricing and signage, adhering to guidelines for ordering, clearances, markdowns, and labeling.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to uphold a safe and hygienic workspace.
• Ensure full stock levels through merchandise stocking, downstocking as necessary, product protection application, and proper modular setup, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe, clean, hazard-free environment.
• Adapt to varied work shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet store operational needs.

Role Challenges

• Manage a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment, including overnight shifts, requiring effective time and energy management.
• Complete large-scale restocking and recovery duties accurately and on schedule.
• Perform physically demanding tasks like prolonged standing, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive duties involving stocking, zoning, and organizing items consistently and with attention to detail.

Compensation

The position offers a starting hourly wage of $16.90.
