Job description
Position Overview
The Food and Consumables Team Associate plays a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service by upholding Walmart's fundamental values and principles. This role involves maintaining and organizing the food and consumables departments, assisting with stock replenishment, and supporting sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain proper zoning of product shelves, tables, and bunkers to ensure organized display and correct product placement.
- Rotate inventory and monitor for any expired items to guarantee product freshness and safety.
- Confirm that all merchandise is labeled, signed, and priced accurately according to store guidelines.
- Strictly follow standards related to cold chain compliance, including thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, food handling protocols, product rotation techniques, and adherence to sell-by and expiration dates.
- Implement correct procedures concerning ordering, clearance processes, markups and markdowns, and appropriate labeling and pricing of goods.
Additional Information
