Role Overview

The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a crucial role in driving Braze's revenue growth by proactively identifying and engaging potential customers. This position requires autonomy, accountability, and a commitment to high standards. BDRs collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop account strategies and engage high-level stakeholders, including C-suite executives, through personalized communications and discovery calls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research target accounts to build a strong pipeline.
  • Create and execute outreach campaigns via phone, email, LinkedIn, and video to generate business opportunities.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with C-level prospects to understand their business goals and challenges.
  • Qualify early-stage deals and deliver value-oriented pitches and demonstrations.
  • Manage own meetings and collaborate with internal teams to advance sales opportunities.
  • Meet outreach KPIs and sales quotas to drive individual and team success.
  • Participate in events for lead generation and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Work Environment and Schedule

This position is based onsite in Sydney with a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office to foster team collaboration and learning.
