Position Overview
We look beyond simply mixing beverages; our bartenders craft memorable, distinctive experiences. Candidates should master the fundamentals while remaining attentive to emerging trends, local specialties, and evolving guest preferences. The role demands not only expertise in drink preparation but also hosting skills, taking responsibility for superior guest service beyond the bar area. Bartenders will ensure the bar’s impeccable appearance and operation, nurture relationships within the hotel and the wider community, and anticipate guest needs with dedication and precision.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences by personalizing service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the bar environment at all times.
- Build strong connections with guests, colleagues, and community members to enhance service quality.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety standards, company policies, and confidentiality requirements.
- Manage cash and provide accurate information to guests with great attention to detail.
- Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and stooping as needed during work.
- Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned to ensure operational excellence.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant bartending experience is required.
- Supervisory roles are not expected.
- Licenses or certifications are not mandatory.
