Position Overview

At Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Sharjah, UAE, we seek enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress professionals who contribute not just by serving food but by creating memorable and unique dining experiences. Our Guest Service Support Experts are essential in maintaining smooth food and beverage operations, enhancing the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare tables for service in a timely and welcoming manner.
• Assist kitchen and service staff in various duties to support smooth operation.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderly condition of work areas, including replenishing supplies as needed.
• Engage actively with guests to provide attentive, courteous service throughout their dining experience.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards to maintain a professional environment.

Physical and Operational Demands

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, including on uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Read and verify menu information accurately.
• Perform manual tasks including lifting and carrying objects up to 25 pounds unassisted, and up to 50 pounds with help.
• Utilize bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and reaching motions regularly during duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D.).
• No prior relevant work experience required, though preference is given to candidates with food and beverage background.
• No supervisory or certification requirements for this position.
