Barista

Position Overview

As a Barista at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Bengaluru, you will execute comprehensive closing tasks including storing reusable items, dismantling goods, cleaning equipment and work areas, securing refrigerators and doors, restocking supplies, and completing daily cleaning reports. Preparation and upkeep of workstations are essential, alongside ensuring all china, glassware, and silverware meet cleanliness and presentation standards before use. Maintaining a clean work environment throughout shifts by adhering to 'clean-as-you-go' practices is critical.

Maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality regarding company information while safeguarding assets. Physical and Operational Requirements

This position requires the ability to stand, sit, or walk extensively throughout the shift; to lift, carry, or move objects up to 50 pounds unassisted, and to maneuver over uneven or slippery surfaces, stairs, and service ramps. Duties may include bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and reaching, necessitating fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Additional reasonable tasks may be assigned by supervisors as needed.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.). No prior related work or supervisory experience is necessary, nor are any licenses or certifications required.
