Attendant - House Lead

Position Overview

The Attendant - House Lead role at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is a full-time position based in Medina, Saudi Arabia, focused on ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of assigned areas meet established standards. This role involves using checklists to maintain designated areas, reporting maintenance needs, and promptly responding to guest and staff requests associated with housekeeping services.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and condition of assigned public areas and guest rooms using standardized checklists.
• Report preventative maintenance needs or other maintenance issues through proper channels; coordinate urgent repairs with relevant departments.
• Clean, maintain, and properly store cleaning equipment; document and report outstanding concerns.
• Complete all required housekeeping documentation accurately.
• Assist management with staff hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching, serving as a model for employees.
• Adhere strictly to company safety and security policies; report any safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain professional personal appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Provide excellent guest service by welcoming and acknowledging guests per company standards, anticipating needs, assisting guests with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation.
• Foster positive working relationships among team members and support collective goals through effective communication.
• Perform physical tasks including moving and lifting objects up to 55 pounds independently, pushing or pulling loaded carts over uneven terrain, bending, twisting, stooping, and maintaining physical stamina throughout an entire work shift.
• Use computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information and visually interpret written documents.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of experience in a related field is acceptable.
• Supervisory Experience: This role does not require prior supervisory experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: None required.
