Job description
Position Overview
The HR Executive will support various Human Resources functions, primarily focusing on employee relations and recruitment compliance within Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Doha, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and following up on employee relations issues to ensure resolution.
- Support management and leadership in resolving HR-related concerns.
- Oversee hiring and recruitment processes aligned with local, state, and federal laws, company policies, and standards.
- Keep HR management informed about employee relations matters.
- Respond to inquiries and concerns from employees and management regarding HR policies and programs.
- Communicate information about employer-employee relations, personnel policies, and employee activities.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of employee records such as interview documentation and I-9 forms.
- Assist with logistics and administration regarding annual employee surveys.
- Handle phone calls and record messages professionally.
- Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, employee evaluations, counseling, disciplinary actions, motivation, and coaching.
- Adhere to all company and safety/security policies, reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Greet guests in accordance with company standards and communicate professionally.
- Build and sustain positive working relationships to promote team goals and respond constructively to concerns.
- Use computer systems and point of sale terminals to access and record work information.
- Physically handle objects up to 10 pounds as required.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
- At least one year of experience in a supervisory role.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.
