Job description

Position Summary

The Cost Controller is responsible for verifying the accuracy of financial entries, postings, and documentation, ensuring proper coding and mathematical correctness. This role involves organizing, securing, and maintaining all financial records, including cash and equivalents, in compliance with company policies and procedures. The position requires management of computerized financial information, maintaining detailed spreadsheets for financial and accounting data, as well as classifying, coding, and summarizing numerical data to maintain accurate financial records using journals, ledgers, or computerized systems.

Additional responsibilities include preparing, maintaining, and distributing various reports such as statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports. The Cost Controller also completes period-end closing activities and reporting, and prepares, reviews, reconciles, and issues invoices, bills, and statements in line with organizational procedures.

  • Use clear, professional communication both verbally and in writing, including answering telephones and emails with appropriate etiquette.
  • Physically handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Foster positive working relationships and support team goals by actively listening and responding to colleagues’ concerns.
  • Perform additional reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) certificate.
  • Minimum of one year of related professional experience in a similar financial or accounting role.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No specific licenses or certifications are necessary.

Additional Information

Job location is in Central Area District North of Al Masjid Al Nabawi in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site role within a non-management level position in the Finance and Accounting category.
