Job Overview

The Associate Manager, HR Operations at Stryker is responsible for managing and improving the standards and procedures related to the Right to Information (RTI) under the EU Pay Directive. This role involves close collaboration with external partners and the Workplace Practices Team to ensure policy compliance and adaptation as legislation evolves. The incumbent will also oversee the preparation, analysis, and accuracy of pay data, and act as the primary contact for RTI technological escalations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enhance RTI standards and procedures according to EU Pay Directive requirements.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and internal teams to ensure clear understanding and compliance with policies and local regulations.
  • Maintain alignment with the Total Rewards Philosophy and global pay transparency initiatives.
  • Manage RTI intake processes for countries with finalized legal transpositions, ensuring accurate system data entry.
  • Coordinate RTI service requests through Service Now in partnership with HR Technologies, including requirement gathering, programming, and testing.
  • Document and communicate RTI updates to HRBPs and managers to ensure process awareness across entities.
  • Lead the collection, verification, and analysis of pay data with local teams, ensuring data integrity.
  • Serve as the initial escalation point for technical issues related to RTI requests.
  • Manage and refine service metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with RTI.
  • Ensure compliance throughout all RTI processes and support any required annual reporting.
  • Stay informed about local Equality Bodies and collective bargaining site implications.
  • Work with Human Resources Operations leadership to provide timely updates and contribute to related projects.
  • Participate in Center of Excellence (COE) Transformation initiatives and assist in process design as needed.
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships within HR to ensure program alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
  • At least 6 years of professional work experience.
  • Preferably over 3 years of experience in business-facing HR roles, HR COE, HR Operations, or related positions.
  • Strong familiarity with Stryker's pay data and associated pay elements.
  • Proven record in leading projects and influencing stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Experience in managing and analyzing large volumes of data.
  • Skilled in formulating and implementing execution plans that align with strategy.

Skills and Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and decision support.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Effective communication skills, including written and verbal, with capability to influence diverse audiences both in person and virtually via platforms like Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of data reviewing and reporting.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive under fast-paced and deadline-driven conditions.
  • Strong organization, project management, and self-management skills.
  • Adept at building and maintaining relationships across various business units and functions.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment.
  • Comfortable delivering complex or challenging communications to leadership.

Compensation Details

  • Annual salary range in Ireland: €62,000 to €105,000 EUR.
  • Monthly salary ranges in Germany vary by location; Freiburg/Stetten (39 hours): €5,917 - €9,895 EUR, Schonkirchen/Kiel (40 hours): €6,574 - €10,994 EUR.
  • Annual salary range for Berlin/Duisburg/Waghäusel/field-based (40 hours): €66,100 - €110,200 EUR.
