Job description

Role Overview

As the Manager of Employee Relations for EMEA at Stryker, you will lead extensive HR investigations across multiple countries and divisions, ensuring thorough processes from case intake, investigation planning and conducting interviews, to delivering recommendations and analysis of findings. You will maintain clear communication with managers and HR business partners (HRBPs), advising them on employee relations issues and driving improvements to uphold our culture of integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct high-volume employee relations investigations involving multiple countries and divisions, managing all stages including intake, planning, interviews, recommendations, and reporting.
  • Keep stakeholders, including managers and HRBPs, regularly informed on the investigation statuses.
  • Provide expert support on complex or high-level cases as necessary.
  • Analyze trends and data from HR investigations and employee relations to identify risks and suggest preventative measures in partnership with HR and management.
  • Initiate investigation procedures in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and local HR teams in response to alleged violations of company policies and standards of conduct.
  • Advise and counsel managers and HRBPs on handling employee relations issues, including recommending appropriate courses of action and supporting implementation steps.
  • Design and deliver training programs for managers, employees, and HRBPs, while supporting the establishment of standard processes for employee relations within the EMEA and EEMEA regions.
  • Offer coaching to HRBPs on employee relations and workplace environment concerns.
  • Coordinate with compliance and legal departments regarding disciplinary actions related to compliance investigations outside of workplace environment matters, and assist in those investigations when required.
  • Report key findings, trends, and analysis from high-level HR investigations to stakeholders such as oversight and compliance committees.
  • Stay informed and update policies according to current and emerging laws, regulations, and trends affecting the company's work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is mandatory; a degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related area is preferred.
  • At least 6 years of professional experience, preferably in employee relations, investigations, or business-facing HR roles.

Compensation

For candidates based in Ireland, the annual salary range is between ,000 and 6,000 EUR. This position may additionally be eligible for incentives, such as bonuses or commissions, alongside Stryker's comprehensive benefits package.
