Role Overview
We are currently inviting expressions of interest for a Robotics Product Specialist position based in Auckland, New Zealand. Key Responsibilities
- Offer hands-on technical and clinical assistance during knee and hip surgeries to ensure the robotic equipment is used safely and effectively.
- Perform pre-operative planning by analyzing CT scans with specialized software to prepare cases.
- Serve as the main contact for surgeons and theatre teams during surgeries to guarantee smooth operations and optimal product usage.
- Support daily surgical procedures ensuring equipment readiness and precision under demanding clinical conditions.
- Educate healthcare staff through structured, in-person training sessions on product operation and surgical techniques.
- Keep precise records of cases and system data to comply with standards and facilitate ongoing enhancements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to manage case schedules, inventory, and coverage efficiently.
- Track product utilization and relay insights for product development and improved customer outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of at least a Bachelor's degree in fields such as Allied Health, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Science, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Chiropractic, Osteopathy, or Podiatry.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in healthcare settings, clinical roles, or patient-facing positions.
- Hold a full and unrestricted Australian driver's license.
- Previous experience in surgical or clinical support roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical devices, healthcare technologies, operating theatre environments, or anatomy-related jobs is advantageous.
