Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Android software engineers to develop BJAK’s AI Finance Agent native Android application. This position focuses on delivering clean user interactions, optimized performance, high-quality software, and dependable mobile features impacting real users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Android features primarily using Kotlin.
- Create intuitive mobile workflows encompassing insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex user experiences.
- Integrate backend APIs maintaining app security, stability, and reliability.
- Enhance application performance, reduce crashes, improve load times, responsiveness, and manage memory efficiently.
- Leverage analytics and user feedback to refine the product continually.
- Build AI-powered mobile experiences only where they add real user value.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin.
- Deep understanding of Android fundamentals with experience delivering apps to production.
- Strong proficiency in Jetpack libraries, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architectural patterns.
- Keen insight into mobile user experience, usability considerations, edge cases, and seamless user flows.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and diagnosing production issues.
- Ability to execute tasks quickly with high ownership and focus on product excellence.
- Submission of app links, GitHub repositories, screenshots, or other evidence of previous work is highly beneficial.
