Role Overview
We seek skilled mobile developers to contribute to BJAK's AI-driven Neobank app across Android and iOS platforms. The position targets strong mobile builders who excel in delivering clean, user-friendly mobile applications, preferably specializing in Android, iOS, or both.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Android application features primarily using Kotlin.
- Create seamless and intuitive mobile workflows for insurance services, payments, claims, renewals, and various financial operations.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to simplify complex user interactions.
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring mobile experiences are secure, stable, and dependable.
- Enhance application performance by reducing crash rates, optimizing load times, responsiveness, and memory utilization.
- Leverage analytics and user behavior data to inform continual product improvements.
- Implement AI-powered mobile experiences selectively when they enhance user engagement.
Desired Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Android development using Kotlin.
- In-depth knowledge of Android fundamentals and proven experience releasing production-ready apps.
- Familiarity with Jetpack components, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architectural patterns.
- Strong understanding of mobile user experience, usability, edge case handling, and flow design.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and troubleshooting production-level issues.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively execute tasks with high ownership and attention to quality.
- Portfolio including app links, GitHub repositories, or screenshots showcasing shipped applications is highly beneficial.
