Role Overview

The Pre-Sales Engineer will be stationed at Taurus's Dubai office and act as a crucial link between the engineering teams and clients' technical staff (including IT, system admins, database, engineering, and DevOps). This role demands a hands-on technical architect to collaborate closely with customers and partners to deliver robust, creative solutions, ensuring successful implementations and high service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide diverse technology services throughout the product lifecycle: deployment, configuration, knowledge transfer, upgrades, maintenance, and deprecation, tailored to client needs.
  • Lead planning, installation, and integration of Taurus solutions in physical, virtual, or hybrid IT infrastructures.
  • Offer advanced technical professional services like product customization, integration, upgrades, and troubleshooting in customer environments.
  • Foster and nurture customer relationships to boost adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Develop trusted advisory relationships with clients to support ongoing value from Taurus products and services.
  • Collaborate with customers to refine Taurus offerings based on their evolving requirements.
  • Represent client needs within Taurus organization to advocate improvements and solutions.
  • Ensure comprehensive knowledge transfer of Taurus products to partners and clients.
  • Work alongside engineering teams to promptly resolve client issues, enhancing post-sales customer experience.
  • Enhance technical and user documentation for customer benefit.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 8 years of direct technical experience integrating products in complex organizations, including debugging APIs, Kubernetes deployments, and network troubleshooting; financial services background advantageous.
  • Demonstrated history as Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer/Pre-Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or similar, with proven success in increasing client satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
  • Experience working with corporate IT frameworks such as virtualization, VDI, backup, and application management.
  • Familiarity with DevOps processes including build, testing, release management, and product lifecycle handling.
  • Strong proficiency with modern DevOps technologies: Linux, Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, Shell scripting.
  • Capability to deploy and integrate both simple and complex solutions into existing production environments.
  • Knowledge in database management (SQL) and software development, preferably with Go, Java, or Python programming languages.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A strong eagerness to learn, goal-oriented mindset, and ability to work effectively within teams.
  • Readiness and willingness to travel frequently to client locations.
