About the Internship
Join Scope for Change, a non-profit organization committed to fostering sustainable development through impactful social and environmental projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in civil engineering, supporting community-focused initiatives, particularly education and infrastructure development in underserved areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize civil engineering knowledge to oversee and support renovation efforts at local schools.
- Manage and supervise labour involved in renovation projects efficiently.
- Maintain daily progress reports documenting work status.
- Capture and share visual updates, including photos and videos, to track ongoing improvements.
- Communicate and coordinate project needs with the Project Manager regularly.
- Engage with school and government administrators to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Procure materials from the market as necessary to support renovation tasks.
- Contribute to social media management to raise awareness and support for the projects.
- Conduct site visits to other schools within Gurugram to assess infrastructure needs.
- Collaborate with corporate partners to secure CSR funding and support.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be residents of Gurgaon and available for part-time engagement.
- Must be able to start between September 27, 2026, and November 1, 2026.
- Availability for a six-month duration is required.
- Civil Engineering students with relevant skills and interest in community development are preferred.
- Women interested in starting or restarting their professional journey are encouraged to apply.
Remuneration & Benefits
- The stipend offered ranges from INR 10,000 to INR 15,000 per month.
- Interns will receive a certificate and a letter of recommendation upon successful completion.
