Joon Specialty Coffee, located in Kokapet, Hyderabad, is more than just a cafe. It aims to be a vibrant community hub where people can work, play, create, and connect. This 3-month internship invites an enthusiastic individual to help build this unique space, blending specialty coffee, food, movement, and community experiences.
Role and Responsibilities
- Craft memorable experiences and moments that encourage guests to keep returning to Joon.
- Innovate and implement diverse events such as morning coffee sessions, evening pickleball games, pop-ups, dinners, and other creative concepts.
- Establish meaningful connections with founders, creators, artists, athletes, and thinkers who visit the space.
- Facilitate networking by linking the right individuals and nurturing valuable relationships and opportunities.
- Transform ideas into actionable plans and execute them effectively.
- Contribute to expanding Joon beyond the cafe through initiatives like a concept store, collaborations, and community projects.
- Document and share stories, people, and happenings to cultivate an engaging online presence for Joon.
- Continuously test new ideas, learn from feedback, and develop successful initiatives further.
- Maintain an active awareness of daily happenings to enhance the environment continuously.
- Collaborate closely with the founder to convert conversations into innovative experiments and real outcomes.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be available for a full-time in-office internship starting between 30th September 2026 and 4th November 2026.
- Commitment to the 3-month duration of the internship.
- Possess relevant skills and interests aligned with community building and event coordination.

- Strong ability to quickly convert ideas into actions.
- No need for a perfect resume; diverse backgrounds such as community building, content creation, entrepreneurship, operations, marketing, or student leadership are welcome.

Additional Information and Perks
- Intern will work directly with the founder and have the flexibility to shape the cafe's atmosphere throughout the day.
- Stipend structure includes a fixed monthly payment between ₹10,000 and ₹12,000 plus incentives ranging from ₹2,500 to ₹5,000, totaling ₹12,500 to ₹17,000 per month.
- Internship offers flexible work hours, informal dress code, and complimentary snacks and beverages.
- A certificate of internship completion and a letter of recommendation will be provided.
