Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Workshop Level 4 professionals specializing as Tilers or Painter Blasters. The role involves working with wear-resistant solutions on heavy-duty equipment, based in Berkeley Vale, New South Wales, Australia. Pay rate is $47.11 per hour plus applicable penalty rates. Immediate start available.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Overtime opportunities are available
Role Responsibilities
Tiler Duties:
- Install ceramic lining systems on industrial equipment
- Accurately measure, cut, and fit ceramic tiles as well as other wear-resistant materials
- Mix and apply adhesives, epoxies, and grouts effectively
- Attach ceramic tiles to pipes, chutes, tanks, hoppers, and other machinery components
Painter / Blaster Duties:
- Perform abrasive blasting to prepare steel components for coating
- Inspect surfaces and apply masking as required
- Use spray, brush, and roller techniques to apply industrial coatings
- Mix coating materials according to specifications
- Measure both wet and dry film thickness to ensure quality application
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a White Card
- Current and valid NSW Driver's License (mandatory)
- Forklift license is desirable but not essential
- Experience with ceramic tiling, industrial lining, refractory, or rubber lining for Tilers is preferred
- For Painter/Blasters, prior industrial painting or blasting experience is highly regarded
- Familiarity with coating systems and surface preparation is important
