We have permanent full-time roles available immediately for a Transport Scheduler based in North Fremantle, Western Australia. Shift options include day and night shifts.

Role Summary
As a Transport Scheduler reporting to the Operations Team, you will manage the coordination of container transport activities, focusing on efficient and effective utilization of the fleet for daily operations. This fast-paced, high-volume position requires close collaboration with drivers and internal teams to meet transport schedules safely and efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule fleet movements utilizing VBS Booking Systems and Containerchain software to maximize fleet use
- Liaise consistently with drivers and operations personnel to coordinate daily transport tasks
- Assign driver jobs involving Full Container Load (FCL) deliveries and Multi-Trailer (MT) collections
- Maintain accurate transport and job data in operational management systems
- Continuously monitor and adapt schedules to align with evolving operational needs
- Ensure effective communication among all operational parties to achieve service objectives
- Address scheduling conflicts and operational challenges promptly and effectively
- Operate efficiently under strict deadlines within a dynamic logistics environment
- Support safe, compliant transport operations at all times
Required Experience and Skills
- Previous involvement in transport scheduling, fleet management, logistics coordination, or a related field
- Excellent organizational ability to handle fluctuating priorities
- Strong solution-oriented problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to maintain performance and meet deadlines under pressure
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Self-motivated with a drive to independently deliver results
- Knowledge of Main Roads Regulations
- Proficient computer skills with adaptability to learn new systems quickly
- Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy skills
- Experience with Containerchain, MT Data systems, and/or 1-Stop VBS considered advantageous
- Background in container transport or freight logistics seen as a plus
- Possession of a valid National Police Clearance is mandatory
