Job description
Role Overview
As a Visual Merchandiser at our Bayamón store, you play a key role in delivering an engaging and consistent shopping experience by applying visual standards and commercial excellence. You will lead the store's visual, commercial, and styling arrangements adhering to brand guidelines. Staying abreast of fashion trends and competitor activity, you will provide valuable insights and coach the team to elevate customer interactions.
Daily Responsibilities
- Enhance the overall OMNI customer experience by implementing visual and commercial displays in line with brand standards.
- Maintain professional and positive interactions representing the brand directly with customers.
- Manage and adjust workload based on the store activation plan and business needs in partnership with Store Management and Area Visual Manager.
- Ensure timely rollout and upkeep of global campaigns and sales events following H&M standards.
- Oversee garment care, monitor stock levels, and provide allocation feedback to management.
- Analyze sales reports and KPIs to identify and prioritize visual and commercial improvements collaboratively.
- Develop effective strategies to boost customer satisfaction, sales targets, and store goals.
- Adhere to procedures, service standards, operational routines, legal requirements, and internal communications.
- Stay informed on the latest fashion, trends, competitor offerings, and relevant influencers.
- Allocate time to understand trend theory and mood boards for styling and product presentation to meet customer expectations.
- Educate and inspire the store team on seasonal fashion changes, trends, and brand communication including pricing strategies.
- Coach team members on visual and commercial skills, maintaining high-quality displays per standards.
- Support daily routines, best practices, and customer service engagement to sustain visual and commercial consistency.
- Lead onboarding and ongoing training to develop team talents.
- Coordinate and deliver visual and commercial upskilling for yourself and colleagues.
- Complete required visual and commercial competency trainings aligned with regional goals.
- Assist sales and area teams with store expansion projects as needed.
- Implement styling and visual curation according to commercial calendar, allocation, and guidelines.
- Manage sample selections including stockroom items to build trend stories aligned with brand inspiration.
- Ensure window and styling presentations meet brand visual and commercial standards to attract customers.
- Maintain optimal customer flow by organizing layout and fixtures to highlight trending products.
- Ensure signage and pricing displays are accurate and compliant with global and regional strategies.
- Work with Facilities Management to maintain correct lighting to emphasize products and displays.
- Care for fixtures and interior materials with sustainability in mind.
- Maintain updated store navigation according to the latest layouts and guidelines in coordination with the Area Visual Manager.
- Manage adequate stock of sales and promotional materials per local routines.
- Keep sales floor and back areas clean, organized, and secure following safety protocols.

- Capable of interpreting sales data and acting on selling performance and weekly reports.
