About Base360.ai and The Role
Base360.ai is creating an AI-driven operating system tailored for short-term rental businesses, enabling property managers to efficiently launch and scale through automation. Originating from The Flex technology, the company seeks a skilled Video Editor to vividly illustrate its products, founder narratives, and brand voice through captivating video content.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform raw footage, product demos, and creative concepts into engaging launch films, branded stories, and advertisements that capture and sustain audience attention.
- Develop founder-focused videos using interview clips, talking-head segments, and behind-the-scenes recordings.
- Create short-form video content optimized for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, utilizing strong hooks and deliberate pacing.
- Produce diverse paid advertising creatives with variations in openings, messaging, and calls to action to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Animate and bring products to life with screen recordings, motion graphics, kinetic typography, and clear visual narratives.
- Manage all aspects of post-production, including footage selection, editing, color grading, sound design, music integration, captioning, and final exporting.
- Integrate AI-powered creative tools to generate supplementary visuals, voiceovers, and other assets that improve output quality or speed up production timelines.
- Ensure consistency of visual branding across all video formats and distribution channels.
- Leverage video performance metrics such as viewer retention, watch time, and conversion data to refine and enhance future video content.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates a strong portfolio that showcases storytelling ability, proficient editing skills, and a refined visual aesthetic.
- Experienced with editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, and skilled in motion design tools like After Effects or equivalents.
- Knows how to captivate viewers within the first three seconds and maintain their engagement through concise, compelling narratives.
- Understands the impact of music, silence, sound effects, and pacing in shaping viewer emotion.
- Comfortable employing AI creative solutions including Runway, Kling, Sora, and ElevenLabs within video production workflows.
- Works independently, adheres to deadlines, and reacts constructively to feedback.
- Balances the need for speed with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a polished final product.
Preferred Experience
Previous work involving SaaS product videos, founder storytelling, documentary style videos, or paid social advertising is advantageous.
