Our platform integrates property management, guest communication, booking, cleaning, maintenance, and financial workflows into a single solution designed to empower anyone to easily establish and grow a short-term rental enterprise.

Role Overview

We seek an ambitious UX/UI Product Designer to transform intricate operational challenges into intuitive, appealing digital experiences. This role involves close collaboration with founders and engineers to craft solutions addressing the needs of property managers, operations teams, and guests.

Key Design Areas

  • Create core product features such as dashboards and workflows encompassing reservations, property management, guest interactions, cleaning, maintenance, and financial aspects.
  • Develop user-friendly AI interaction interfaces, facilitating configuration, action review, decision monitoring, and manual intervention.
  • Design operator onboarding and setup processes, enabling smooth channel integration and property additions for quick value realization.
  • Enhance booking and guest experiences including direct reservations, check-in, extension requests, and upsell opportunities.
  • Construct and maintain a comprehensive design system with reusable components and consistent interaction patterns ensuring platform coherence during expansion.
  • Produce website and marketing visuals to clearly communicate product benefits and features.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process from problem identification and user research to prototyping, finalized interfaces, and implementation review.
  • Engage with operators and internal stakeholders to identify workflows and pain points.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear, user-centered journeys, wireframes, and polished interface designs.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver feasible designs accounting for real data scenarios and technical constraints.
  • Conduct early testing of concepts, incorporate feedback, and refine experiences post-launch.
  • Leverage AI tools to expedite exploration and production while upholding design quality.
  • Proactively identify challenges, suggest impactful solutions, and drive projects toward completion.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven portfolio exhibiting strong UX design and exceptional visual design capabilities.
  • Experience designing SaaS applications, dashboards, or complex workflow systems.
  • Advanced skills in Figma, including mastery of auto layout, components, design systems, and interactive prototyping.
  • Excellent sense of typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, and responsive design principles.
  • Ability to distill complex information clearly without omitting critical user needs.
  • Track record of working hand-in-hand with engineers to realize designs through to production.
  • Effective communication skills to justify design choices and integrate constructive criticism.
  • High ownership mentality, meticulous attention to detail, and adaptability when requirements evolve.

Preferred Experience

Background in short-term rentals, hospitality, AI-driven products, conversion rate optimization, or front-end development is advantageous but not mandatory.

Why Work With Us

  • Make a tangible impact by designing user experiences that shape how short-term rental businesses operate.
  • Collaborate directly with real operational teams through The Flex to glean insights from their challenges.
