About the Role

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team at Kapiva in Bangalore. This position involves transforming raw video footage into polished, engaging visual stories that align with our brand identity. The role demands creativity, technical proficiency, and collaboration with the creative team to meet project goals.

Responsibilities

• Edit and compile raw footage into seamless videos with logical flow and smooth transitions.
• Work closely with creative team members to grasp project requirements and produce videos consistent with brand standards.
• Use Adobe Creative Suite tools, primarily Premiere Pro and After Effects, for effective and efficient video editing.
• Enhance videos by adding motion graphics and visual effects through After Effects.
• Apply fundamental techniques in sound design and color grading to elevate audiovisual quality.
• Manage assigned projects independently, ensuring timely delivery while upholding exceptional quality.
• Keep abreast of industry advancements and new editing methods to continuously refine your expertise.
• Organize and maintain a systematic archive of assets, project files, and final video outputs.
• Be prepared to travel to different locations for on-site video shoots as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience level ranging from 5 months to 2 years with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong skills in motion graphics using After Effects are mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of sound design and color grading is advantageous.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing creativity, technical skill, and narrative expertise in visual storytelling.
• Passion and enthusiasm for video editing and storytelling.
• Effective communication abilities to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
• Capability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel for location shoots when required.
