Job description

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician at a prominent national company based in Milton Keynes, offering competitive salary and career growth prospects.

Key Responsibilities

Perform vehicle servicing and routine maintenance tasks
Conduct vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical or electrical issues
Repair and maintain braking systems, suspension assemblies, and clutches
Replace and service cambelts as required

Candidate Requirements

Preferably Level 3 certification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, though Level 2 or equivalent qualifications such as City and Guilds vehicle Maintenance, IMI, or NVQ will be considered
At least 2 years of experience working within a vehicle workshop or as a Vehicle Technician
Possess a full UK driving license with no more than 9 points or bans
Demonstrated competency in technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills relevant to vehicle maintenance

Working Conditions & Benefits

Starting salary of £40,300 plus 1.5 times overtime pay
Work schedule spanning Monday to Friday, split shifts from 6:00am to 2:30pm and 1:30pm to 10:00pm, totaling 39.5 hours weekly
