Vehicle Progressor

About the Role

At Vertu Hyundai Dunfermline, we are seeking a dedicated Vehicle Progressor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring each vehicle is prepared to meet our group standards within 72 hours of arrival. This includes conducting initial cosmetic inspections, managing necessary repairs such as wheel refurbishment, painting, and trim fixes, as well as overseeing valeting and photographing vehicles to prepare them for sale. Additionally, you will assist the sales manager in crafting accurate and effective vehicle descriptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cosmetic assessments when vehicles arrive and process them accordingly.
• Coordinate all cosmetic restoration work to maintain vehicle quality.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned, detailed, and photographed professionally for sale presentation.
• Conduct final quality checks after vehicle preparation completion.
• Manage logistical arrangements for delivering vehicles back to dealerships or customers as needed.
• Organize vehicles to be ready for sale promptly and efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

• Motivated, disciplined individual with strong communication skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Keen eye for detail paired with confidence in using technology.
• Full UK driving license required due to duties involving collection and delivery of vehicles.
• No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.
