Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and energetic Vehicle Valeter to become part of our newly established branch in Telford. This role involves meticulous cleaning and presentation of vehicles, contributing directly to the quality of our stock and sold vehicles.

Working Hours

The position is full-time with the schedule as follows: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and alternate Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleaning both sold and stock vehicles to a superior standard
• Utilizing a high-powered pressure washer for exterior vehicle cleaning
• Vacuuming and shampooing interiors using specialized equipment
• Employing polishing/buffing machinery to enhance the vehicle’s bodywork
• Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations when handling chemicals
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained, secured, and any faults reported promptly
• Meeting assigned timeframes and productivity targets
• Managing vehicle cleaning schedules using an online diary system
• Maintaining daily records of tasks performed
• Assisting with other branch activities as needed

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Possession of a valid full UK driving licence
• Basic proficiency with computers
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Self-driven with the capability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to engage in training programs

Experience in vehicle valeting is advantageous but not mandatory as comprehensive training is available. All new valeters will attend the Arnold Clark Valet Academy.
