Role Summary

We are seeking a driven and eager Valeter to join our team at the Burton Motorstore location. This role involves preparing vehicles to a pristine standard to ensure they look exceptional for our customers.

Working Hours

Full-time schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, plus alternate Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of sold and stock vehicles
• External vehicle washing using high-pressure washers
• Vacuuming and shampooing interior vehicle spaces
• Polishing and buffing automobile bodywork using specialized machinery
• Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols when handling chemicals
• Maintaining and securely storing equipment, reporting any faults, following manufacturer and PPE guidelines
• Meeting set timelines and production targets
• Scheduling vehicle cleaning via an online diary system
• Documenting daily tasks and work performed
• Supporting other branch operations as assigned

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Possession of a full UK driving license
• Basic proficiency in computer usage
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Motivated self-starter with ability to collaborate within a team
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Openness to participate in training sessions

While prior valet experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory; comprehensive training is available through the Arnold Clark Valet Academy for enthusiastic candidates who meet the role's criteria.
